About Aurora Enriching Lives
Aurora Enriching Lives, Enriching Communities offers an impactful role for a Qualified Staff Nurse dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual, physical, or sensory disabilities. This position involves delivering person-centered care that fosters independence, wellbeing, and enhances quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
The Staff Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care within a Supported Self-Directed Living Community Service, promoting optimal health and supporting daily living activities tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mandatory nursing qualification in Intellectual Disability nursing and maintenance of annual registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Preferred additional qualifications include Psychiatric, General, or Children’s nursing credentials.
- Completion or commitment to complete the HSE Land Medication Management Course is desirable.
- Proven experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and those exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of clinical and corporate governance with working familiarity of HIQA standards.
- Strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal, organizational, and report writing skills are essential.
- Possession of a full, clean manual driving license in Ireland and personal transportation is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The position is full-time and permanent with a salary range from €38,166 to €56,592 annually.
