Role Overview
Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a dedicated Sourcing Recruiter within the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on driving candidate outreach across various roles in Australia. This role involves partnering closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, and assess outstanding candidates using inventive sourcing strategies within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to gain deep insights into job requirements, forming the basis for recruitment strategies.
- Establish and maintain an active candidate network through proactive market research and continuous relationship nurturing, focusing beyond simply filling roles to align cultural fit and candidate motivations.
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods, including employee referrals, internal CRM systems, career portals, and recruitment events.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on talent market trends and contribute ideas to shape long-term talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop and refine recruitment processes that align with Amazon’s goal of delivering top-quality hiring results.
- Engage actively in evaluating candidate skills to uphold high hiring standards.
- Manage recruitment-related data meticulously, leveraging data-driven approaches to enhance operational performance.
- Promote ongoing improvement by educating hiring managers and interviewers on recruitment best practices and interview techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in technical recruiting within a high-volume, high-standard hiring environment.
- Ability to juggle multiple recruitment projects, priorities, and client relationships efficiently.
- Innovative sourcing skills with a proactive approach to developing a pipeline of potential candidates.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in designing, measuring, and scaling recruitment workflows involving candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment teams.
- Strong consulting aptitude and proven teamwork capabilities.
- Background in hiring for high-security roles or familiarity with the defense talent landscape is an advantage.
Additional Information
This position is a fixed-term role for 12 months, requiring full office presence five days a week at AWS’ CBD office in Melbourne or Sydney.
