About Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS)
Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), serves as a trusted collaborator providing a broad range of services from infrastructure and operations to authentication, governance, and managed processes. ATS partners with government agencies and commercial entities to reduce cyber risks and enhance security in an increasingly digital and cyber-centric environment.
Role Overview
ATS operates an internal government application supporting agencies nationwide. Beyond system upkeep, the team partners closely with agencies to design and implement product-focused solutions that meet operational needs. The work integrates AI technologies spanning automation, data insights, generative user interfaces, and decision support tools.
Working Environment and Technology Stack
The team works in an AWS cloud-native ecosystem utilizing Python, Node.js, and Go for backend services, alongside modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js. Agile and adaptable, the environment adapts swiftly to changing project demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and frontend systems.
- Create robust and secure services utilizing Python, Node.js, and Go.
- Craft user interface components with modern frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and partner agencies to convert requirements into operational solutions.
- Manage services hosted on AWS using cloud-native capabilities and infrastructure as code.
- Debug, optimize, and enhance application and workflow performance.
- Maintain high standards in code quality, testing, and operational best practices.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in software engineering; candidates with greater experience may be considered for senior positions.
- Solid programming foundation in at least one coding language.
- Proven experience delivering production-quality applications.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Strong grasp of system design, scalability, and security best practices.
- Proficient in full-stack development including frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Experience using AI-driven development tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT to accelerate coding and debugging.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile work environment with evolving requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
