Software Engineer 1

About the Role and Team

You will be joining the Office of the CTO, a hub for cutting-edge innovation where global technical leaders address significant challenges, track emerging trends, and spearhead sustainability and ESG initiatives shaping the future of semiconductor technology.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, debug, and refine software programs tailored for enhancements and new product development.
• Integrate new customer-driven requirements and features into existing applications.
• Investigate and fix issues in the existing software codebases to ensure optimal performance.
• Produce clear documentation and visual aids such as flowcharts to demonstrate technical solutions alongside clean, maintainable code.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to collaboratively design and build software solutions.
• Occasionally provide customer support onsite, with travel opportunities comprising less than 10% of time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience, with no prior professional experience required.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Software principles including design and programming, applying patterns and Finite State Machines.
• Understanding of multithreading concepts including preemptive thread scheduling.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
