Social Media Content Creator & Videographer

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time content creator passionate about social media and automotive culture. This role involves independently managing the entire content lifecycle—from filming to editing to publishing—delivering consistent, compelling daily content that highlights WIKD's custom car builds, workshop atmosphere, and customer interactions. The content will range from short reels to detailed long-form videos, designed to excite, educate, and engage audiences on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and upload one reel daily for the @MRWIKD and @WIKDTuned social channels.
• Post three daily Instagram or Facebook stories illustrating everyday shop activities.
• Produce and edit comprehensive YouTube build series focusing on LT performance packages.
• Collaborate with team members to develop content strategies that align with ongoing projects and maintain brand consistency.
• Stay updated with current trends in sounds, formats, and styles to keep content fresh and engaging.
• Oversee scheduling, captioning, and hashtag use to boost content visibility.
• Managing and optimizing ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Google is a significant plus.

Requirements

• Documented experience creating social media content, including reels and YouTube videos.
• Skilled in filming and editing using either mobile devices or professional software tools.
• Adept storytelling skills to translate technical automotive work into compelling narratives.
• Strong enthusiasm for cars and automotive culture, with experience or interest in LT platforms considered valuable.
• Capability to operate efficiently in a fast-moving shop environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, gimbals, and audio equipment.
• Familiarity with automotive terms and modification techniques.
• Competence in graphic design or thumbnail production.
• Experience managing Facebook and Google advertising campaigns is highly advantageous.

Compensation & Schedule

Salary is commensurate with experience and skill level, along with successful content outcomes. This is an on-site, full-time role requiring availability Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate important builds and special events.
