Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position in Ontario, Canada, calls for a Site Superintendent responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish. The individual will ensure that projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet all given specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily operations at the construction site.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor progress regularly and perform quality assurance inspections.
- Maintain detailed site documentation and records.
- Facilitate effective communication among internal teams and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in construction management, project planning, and oversight of industrial, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong leadership qualities paired with problem-solving and decisive decision-making abilities.
- Ability to proficiently interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Knowledgeable about construction-related health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Capability to juggle various tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is advantageous.
