Signage Fabrication and Installation Technician

Job Overview

Join our team in Doha, Qatar as a full-time Signage Fabrication and Installation Technician, bringing 4 to 5 years of relevant experience. Previous work within GCC countries is preferred but not essential. Fluency in English including reading, writing, and basic communication skills is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and install various types of indoor and outdoor signage.
• Interpret technical drawings, production layouts, and installation plans to ensure precise execution.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and complete signage pieces using industry-standard tools and equipment.
• Prepare surfaces for vinyl application, guaranteeing proper alignment and superior finish quality.
• Apply self-adhesive vinyl graphics to materials such as acrylic, glass, metal, composite panels, and vehicles.
• Mount, laminate, trim, and finalize printed graphics adhering to production requirements.
• Install illuminated signs, 3D channel letters, lightboxes, directional signs, and corporate branding elements.
• Carry out ACP cladding installations and related finishing work as needed.
• Ensure safe installation practices on customer sites in compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Inspect completed installations to verify quality, precision, and conformity with project specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with production and installation teams to meet project timelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 to 5 years' experience in signage fabrication and installation.
• Experience working on commercial, retail, or advertising signage projects.
• Expertise in vinyl application, graphic finishing, and assembling signage components.
• Proficiency installing illuminated signs, channel letters, lightboxes, and ACP cladding.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and installation layouts.
• Familiar with workshop tools, fabrication machinery, and installation methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Basic communicative English skills are mandatory.
• Prior GCC region experience is advantageous but not compulsory.
