SIA Licensed Security Team Member

Role Overview

We are inviting applications for the position of Security Team Member, available on a full-time, part-time, and seasonal basis at Haven’s Weymouth holiday park. This role centers on fostering a secure and welcoming environment for guests, owners, and staff with the responsibility of maintaining safety at all times. Main Duties

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of all guests, owners, and personnel within the park grounds.
• Manage access controls effectively by verifying that only authorized guests or owners enter the premises.
• React swiftly and courteously to incidents including medical emergencies, security alarms, and guest concerns.
• Accurately document any incidents and report findings to management as necessary.
• Deliver helpful and friendly service by addressing guest inquiries and enhancing their experience.
• Work closely with fellow team members and other park departments to sustain a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.

Essential Criteria

• Possession of a current and valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) license is mandatory.
• Prior experience in a security capacity, particularly in hospitality or leisure venues, is an advantage.
• Effective communicator capable of maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail and keen observational capabilities.
• Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Compensation

The position offers a competitive wage of £13.71 per hour.
