Shopify & SEO Executive

Job Overview

This role is for a Shopify and SEO professional who will take charge of the company’s online store, catalogue management, site updates, app and tool integrations, and search optimization work. The position suits someone with practical experience in Shopify-based eCommerce operations and SEO, especially organic growth and link-building activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Shopify product listings, collections, and storefront content.
• Carry out theme adjustments and make simple updates to page layout and design.
• Install and manage Shopify applications and external integrations.
• Work with Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Merchant Center, and related tracking platforms.
• Improve product, collection, and landing pages for better search visibility.
• Perform keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices.
• Run basic technical SEO checks and resolve common SEO issues.
• Build quality backlinks using outreach, guest posts, directory submissions, and other ethical off-page methods.
• Track keyword performance, organic visits, and backlink results.
• Coordinate with developers when advanced technical changes are required.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Shopify and SEO.
• Prior experience handling Shopify stores and product catalogue updates.
• Good understanding of Shopify themes, apps, and third-party integrations.
• Practical exposure to backlink acquisition and off-page SEO.
• Working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO-related tools.
• Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website structure.
• Strong analytical ability and clear communication skills.
• Preferred background in D2C, FMCG, or eCommerce businesses.

Additional Information

Experience required: 1–3 years. Work arrangement can be remote or on-site. Employment type: full-time.
