Role overview
B&Q is hiring a Shift Lead for its Swords, County Dublin store on a permanent full-time basis. The role is scheduled for 36.75 hours each week and is a keyholder position. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00am and can finish as late as 10:00pm.
The position offers a full-time equivalent salary of £27,709.50 per year, along with pension contributions and 6.6 weeks of holiday.
As a Shift Lead, you will help keep the store safe and running efficiently while ensuring both colleagues and customers have a positive experience every day. The role sits at the centre of store operations and supports B&Q’s goal of helping every customer count.
What you will do
- Act as the day-to-day driver of store activity and make sure operations stay on track.
- Deploy colleagues effectively so customer needs are met throughout your shift.
- Serve as the main contact for both customers and team members.
- Maintain a safe environment across the store at all times.
