Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with over eight years of experience, proficient in leading and executing complex cloud-native architecture projects. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires advanced knowledge in DevSecOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation within enterprise-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, provision, and oversee AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code, particularly AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Configure and manage AWS IAM roles and permissions to ensure both security and efficiency.
• Administer a varied infrastructure including Windows hosts and data pipeline components.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads specifically using Amazon EKS, and build containerized applications leveraging Docker and Helm Charts.
• Develop and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Concourse and handle Git workflows with emphasis on branching and code reviews.
• Automate deployment tasks and scripting via Python, Bash, or PowerShell to enhance operational consistency.
• Perform Linux system administration and troubleshoot production build and runtime issues.
• Use monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus to ensure infrastructure and application health.
• Utilize profound understanding of networking, storage, certificates, and logs for problem resolution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum eight years of IT/DevOps experience with at least four years focusing on AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Expertise in Git-based workflows, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.

Desirable Extras

• AWS certifications.
• Background in Java and Spring Boot development and familiarity with build automation tools like Apache Maven.
• Exposure to automated testing methodologies and support across multiple clients and teams.
