Role Overview
The Senior Associate - Programmes plays a key role in enabling the seamless execution of incubation and acceleration initiatives. Reporting to leadership, this position involves operational support, coordination, documentation, and daily program assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of various startup-focused activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and management of incubation and acceleration programs.
- Coordinate various schedules including workshops, meetings, mentoring sessions, and other events.
- Serve as the initial contact point for startups regarding regular communication and follow-ups.
- Maintain comprehensive startup data, program documentation, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Assist with onboarding startups and overseeing reporting and compliance obligations.
- Prepare presentations and reports to assist leadership and program management.
- Track key tasks, deadlines, and follow up with involved stakeholders to ensure delivery.
- Offer administrative and logistical assistance for programs, events, and evaluation reviews.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation capabilities.
- Proficiency in working with spreadsheets, presentation software, and basic data tracking tools.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Understanding of startup ecosystems, innovation, and entrepreneurship dynamics.
- Experience with government-funded initiatives or programs is advantageous.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Graduate degree in Management, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, data-driven tools, or emerging technologies.
Experience
- At least four years of total professional experience.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in program coordination or related roles.
- At least two years of work experience post-essential qualification.
