Senior Associate – Collections

Role Overview

Qatar Free Zones Authority is looking for a Senior Associate to support the collections process. The role focuses on recovering receivables on time, keeping positive customer relationships intact, and helping improve cash flow and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage overdue receivables and ensure consistent follow-up on pending accounts.
• Speak with customers about outstanding payments, disputes, and agreed settlement arrangements.
• Examine billing differences and payment-related issues, then work toward resolution.
• Review accounts receivable aging and flag accounts that present higher risk.
• Contribute to healthy cash flow by carrying out effective collection efforts.
• Reconcile customer ledgers and verify that balances are accurate.
• Compile collection results and aging reports for review.
• Work with other internal teams to clear issues that affect collections.
• Suggest and help implement ways to improve collection processes.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a similar discipline is required.
• You should have 4 to 6 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience handling customer accounts and settling disputes is needed.
• Working knowledge of ERP platforms and reporting applications is expected.
• Having a professional certification is considered an added advantage.
