Security Officer

Overview

The role involves ensuring the protection of passengers, staff, and airport premises by strict enforcement of aviation security protocols, overseeing restricted zones, and managing security events at Jaipur Airport.

Key Duties

• Uphold security standards aligned with company policies.
• Conduct thorough threat assessments and respond effectively.
• Work towards achieving security department objectives and follow-up actions.
• Carry out responsibilities as outlined in the Security Programme.
• Maintain performance benchmarks and coordinate with shift teams.
• Continuously monitor quality systems and compliance levels.
• Preserve high standards of security quality.
• Prevent theft and unauthorized use of company assets.
• Implement Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) guidelines per directives from Airport Operator, BCAS, MOCA, and Government of India.
• Assess and scrutinize AEP applications and documentation prior to regulatory submissions for TAE/BAEP approvals.
• Maintain accurate records through proper file and log management.
• Provide input on staff training needs.
• Keep manuals and local procedures updated.
• Ensure deployment of qualified and competent personnel on duty shifts.
• Verify submitted invoices as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Effective communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate well within a team.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in security roles.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum height for females: 155 cm.
• Minimum height for males: 165 cm.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in aviation security.
• Possession of AVSEC or Screener certification.
• Understanding of relevant regulatory compliance.

Educational Background

Minimum education requirement is Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC); however, graduates are preferred.
