Security Managed Services Analyst

Role Overview

The Security Managed Services Analyst is tasked with spearheading the execution and delivery of Security Services projects, utilizing global resources, standardized tools, methods, and training to achieve excellence. This role ensures superior quality deliverables through strong governance and alignment with client and organizational goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive delivery of security service engagements, ensuring commitments around timeline, scope, quality, and goals are met.
• Develop and supervise project and delivery plans to guarantee predictable and punctual results.
• Make operational decisions for assigned projects and teams, influencing program-wide and account-level directives.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure integrated and seamless security service execution.

Technical Expertise

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Security Operations Center (SOC) strategy, offering guidance on design and operational readiness.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, especially Splunk SIEM, enhancing security monitoring and incident response.
• Apply rigorous security delivery governance to maintain compliance, controls, and consistency across activities.

Risk and Quality Management

• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and operational risks to safeguard project outcomes.
• Manage escalations and issues through established governance and leadership channels.
• Drive continuous assessment and improvement of security service delivery aligned with industry best practices.

Team Leadership and Development

• Create a collaborative and efficient team environment fostering regular communication and strong delivery rhythms.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills, maturity in delivery, and career growth.
