About the Role

Within Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS), which delivers innovative global business solutions, the Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 position is entry-level and focuses on managing orders and transactions from trading desks and branches, working closely with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The role’s primary goal is to support the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives trades.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trade verifications to confirm accuracy of booking requests.
• Produce and reconcile trade confirmations following International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates.
• Accurately and timely execute settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations.
• Address transaction processing issues by coordinating with relevant departments to find solutions.
• Perform regulatory compliance checks, account reconciliations, and maintain records adhering to company policies.
• Prepare and file required internal and external regulatory reports regularly.
• Engage in scheduled General Ledger (GL) proofing exercises.
• Evaluate risks prudently when making business decisions, ensuring firm reputation protection and adherence to laws, policies, ethical standards, and transparent management of control concerns.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Basic knowledge of Treasury products, accounting principles, and regulatory policies.
• Proven capacity to juggle multiple activities or projects efficiently in environments with considerable risk.
• Familiarity with macro programming.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
