Overview
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master or Agile Product Owner to join our large-scale technology programmes in Dublin. This contract role offers a hybrid working arrangement with three onsite days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading Agile delivery and facilitating collaboration in complex transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Advocate Agile principles and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Support team onboarding and ensure efficient team structures and delivery processes.
- Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile methods and best practices.
- Remove blockers to maintain team performance and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish product priorities and delivery goals.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs to align with programme objectives and business value.
- Convert business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure clear understanding of requirements within delivery teams.
- Balance priorities to maximize delivery value while managing constraints.
- Encourage collaboration among stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and decision-making forums with stakeholders.
- Communicate delivery progress, risks, and decisions clearly across groups.
- Manage expectations and maintain alignment between objectives and delivery.
- Identify and track risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).
- Coordinate delivery dependencies among multiple teams and suppliers.
- Mitigate, escalate, and resolve risks and issues promptly.
- Keep visibility on dependencies affecting schedules and outcomes.
- Assist with release planning, sprint forecasting, and scheduling.
- Monitor milestones, timelines, and commitments against progress.
- Generate delivery reports and dashboards for governance forums.
- Track team metrics including capacity, velocity, and delivery results.
- Provide insights and suggestions to improve delivery effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with governance standards and reporting.
- Support audits, quality reviews, and governance checkpoints.
- Assist programme managers with planning, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Work collaboratively with leadership to achieve successful delivery.
Experience Required
- Proven background as a Scrum Master, Agile Product Owner, or Agile Delivery Lead within large-scale technology programmes.
- Successful track record of leading Agile practices in complex technology change initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Extensive experience managing RAID processes, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Skilled in delivery governance, planning, and reporting in highly regulated environments.
