SAP ERP Quality Management (QM) Functional Consultant

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services and consulting, is seeking an experienced SAP ERP Quality Management (QM) Functional Consultant based in Bengaluru. The candidate will be part of our digital transformation journey, focusing on the Quality Management module within SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional consultant with expertise in SAP QM for ECC and S/4HANA versions.
• Configure the Quality Management module and manage strong integration with other SAP modules such as Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Financial Accounting (FI).
• Handle Incoming and Outgoing Certificates, Quality Notifications, multiple specifications, various inspection types, inspection planning and execution, batch management, and master data within QM.
• Understand error handling processes within the QM domain and have sufficient SAP technical knowledge related to tables, structures, and function modules.
• Analyze SAP master data across departmental perspectives and document business processes using formal methodologies.
• Provide comprehensive solution designs tailored to business requirements and collaborate with development teams on SAP configurations and custom developments.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvements and system enhancements proactively.
• Act as a bridge between client business teams and technical consultants, ensuring smooth communication and requirements gathering.
• Mentor and guide junior team members while managing strong client interactions.
• Demonstrate cross-functional leadership by aligning diverse teams and capturing end-to-end process integrations in SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
• Support and enhance the SAP ECC and S/4HANA Quality Management processes covering the complete QM lifecycle.
• Drive innovations including seamless integration between warehouse management and production modules, enhancing stock visibility and controls, and working with Fiori Apps.
• Exhibit strong collaboration skills working effectively with both internal and external consultants across various capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience as a functional consultant in SAP Quality Management.
• Degree in B.Tech, B.E. in any specialization, or any graduate degree.

Location

The position is based in Bengaluru, India, requiring onsite presence.
