Job Overview and Responsibilities
The role of SAP Basis Administrator involves serving as a subject matter expert, leading and collaborating with the team to make critical decisions. The individual will coordinate with diverse teams to address and resolve system issues promptly, thereby ensuring minimal downtime. Mentoring junior team members to build their technical and troubleshooting skills is also essential. There is a continuous drive to evaluate and refine support processes to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Professional and Technical Qualifications
- Expertise in SAP Basis Administration is mandatory.
- Experience with SAP HANA database administration is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of SAP environment performance tuning and optimization methods.
- Proven experience in managing system upgrades, applying patches, and implementing configuration changes to uphold system stability.
- Strong diagnostic skills, including analyzing system logs to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery practices to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
