Role Overview

As a Salesforce Developer at GoodHabitz, you will craft efficient, clean code and deliver well-designed solutions that enhance the company's operational processes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow to improve and optimize business workflows.
• Architect and sustain integrations between Salesforce and other external systems through REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring data consistency and security.
• Design a scalable and structured data model that accommodates growing business requirements.
• Produce clean, documented, maintainable, and test-covered code; participate in code reviews and deployment procedures.
• Implement workflow automations like Flow, validation rules, and approval processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot system issues, enhance performance, provide technical advice to stakeholders and development team members, keep abreast of Salesforce updates, and advocate adoption when advantageous.

Candidate Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
• Proficiency in automation tools, such as Process Builder and Workflow Rules.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture and recommended best practices.
• Experience managing Salesforce integrations with external applications via APIs.
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, or Commerce Cloud is considered beneficial.
• Possession of Salesforce certifications like JavaScript Developer I or Platform App Builder is an advantage; Platform Developer II certification is highly desirable.

Unsuitable Characteristics

• Preference for working in isolation rather than within a Scrum team environment, where delivery is a shared responsibility.
• Reluctance to communicate directly with stakeholders such as Revenue Operations and Sales to achieve effective outcomes.
• Discomfort in elucidating your solutions to non-technical audiences, including providing demos and clear explanations.
• Avoidance of collaborative reviews and testing of colleagues' contributions.
