About the Role
Mitre 10 MEGA Cambridge is seeking a Sales Support Team Leader to join our Trade Centre in Hautapu. Our Trade business has grown significantly over the past year, and we're looking for a leader experienced in building and construction to enhance our Estimating and Sales Support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the existing Estimating and Sales Support teams within the Trade Centre.
- Leverage your building and construction knowledge to assist and guide the team and customers effectively.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing builder customers to foster loyalty and business growth.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products from our extensive range.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of five years experience in a leadership role within the building and construction sector.
- Ability to read and interpret residential building plans to assess required building materials.
- Excellent communication and time management capabilities.
- Strong negotiation skills to maintain beneficial customer relations.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
Additional Details
The position is based at the Trade Centre in Hautapu and involves working closely with Trade Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams. This is a full-time on-site role. Applications are due by August 28, 2026.
