Overview
The Sales Engineer specializing in DX & VRF Systems will be stationed in Riyadh and responsible for selling York and Hitachi branded products, including Split, Ducted, VRF, Packaged Systems, and CRAC units.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and drive sales of York and Hitachi DX & VRF products to contractors, end-users, and consultants.
- Meet the assigned sales objectives encompassing bookings, revenue, profit margins, and timely collections.
- Identify and develop new client accounts to broaden market reach and reinforce channel presence.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with existing dealers to boost loyalty, engagement, and sales volume.
- Advise clients on product selection, pricing strategies, and technical insights to successfully close sales opportunities.
- Regularly visit dealers and conduct joint meetings with customers, alongside market surveys to stimulate demand and monitor sales pipelines.
- Ensure prompt submission and follow-up of quotations to convert orders efficiently.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing tactics to maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Logistics, Finance, Service, and Marketing for seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate timely order processing, delivery arrangements, and payment collections as per contractual agreements.
- Maintain precise sales forecasts, pipeline records, and update sales portals consistently.
- Assist marketing campaigns, promotional events, and dealer activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Adhere to company policies, pricing rules, and channel management frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of sales experience with DX & VRF products in the central Saudi Arabian region.
- In-depth technical knowledge of DX & VRF systems including splits, ducted, and packaged units.
- Experience in collaborating with clients, contractors, and consultants within the KSA market.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing channel partnerships.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing and negotiation.
- Excellent skills in relationship building and stakeholder management.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in challenging settings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
