Sales Assistant

Role overview

Enchanté Accessories is hiring a full-time, onsite Sales Assistant in Manhattan, NY. The position offers a salary range of 60-70 K. This role supports the sales function through buyer communication, overseas coordination, product and design support, order follow-up, and inventory administration. It suits someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a busy environment.

International coordination

• Liaise with teams and factories overseas to request pricing, obtain samples, and help source new products.
• Keep communication clear so product specifications and timelines stay aligned.

Design and product support

• Partner with designers on CADs, project schedules, and packaging ideas.
• Suggest creative ways to make existing products stand out.
• Help source and assemble prints for design work.

Order and production tracking

• Work with factories to manage production timing and ensure shipping deadlines are met.
• Review samples and confirm they meet quality expectations and required standards.

Order fulfillment

• Support accurate picking, routing, and shipment of orders so delivery commitments are met.
• Maintain efficiency and precision through the full fulfillment process.

Inventory administration

• Track stock levels to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
• Keep inventory records updated in Excel spreadsheets.

Buyer communication

• Develop and maintain strong buyer relationships through regular communication.
• Respond quickly to buyer questions and share updates on new products.
• Help with day-to-day communication that supports customer satisfaction and sales growth.

Product setup

• Create style numbers and UPCs for new items.
• Help set up and maintain retailer portals for product listings.
• Carry out other related tasks as needed.

Competencies and experience

The ideal candidate brings strong organization and multitasking skills, solid written and verbal communication, and good computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel. A collaborative approach is important in this team-oriented environment. Familiarity with design workflows, market trends, or wholesale operations is advantageous, and prior exposure to international correspondence or supply chain coordination is preferred. The role requires 3+ years of experience in wholesale production, sales, or a related field.
