Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Risk Advisor to become part of the Risk Advisory team. This position demands close collaboration with internal departments and external parties to detect, evaluate, and control risks affecting the organization's goals. The appointed individual will offer actionable risk advice, assist in developing robust risk frameworks, and promote a proactive risk-aware culture throughout the company and its affiliates.

Key Duties

• Offer expert guidance on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks effectively.
• Engage with stakeholders to recognize emerging risks and devise practical remedies.
• Contribute to implementing and enhancing risk management frameworks, tools, and procedures.
• Support efforts to reinforce controls and minimize exposure to risks.
• Promote sound governance and risk management standards.
• Aid in creating policies, protocols, and best practice recommendations.
• Participate in risk evaluations, assurance reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with risk reporting and data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and nurture relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
• Lead workshops, presentations, and knowledge-sharing events.
• Deliver clear, tailored advice to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Represent the organization at relevant meetings as necessary.
• Analyze risk data, identify trends, and suggest improvements in risk performance.
• Contribute to company-wide initiatives and strategic projects involving risk insights.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses relevant qualifications or professional experience in Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, Insurance, Audit, Law, or related fields.
• Has background experience in risk advisory, enterprise risk, governance, compliance, or assurance roles.
• Understands risk frameworks, control measures, and governance principles thoroughly.
• Skilled in drafting risk documentation, policies, and driving process improvements.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exhibits excellent communication and stakeholder engagement competencies.
• Confident in presenting information and influencing diverse stakeholders.
• Adopts a proactive, team-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Holds a full clean driving licence and is open to travel as required.
