About The Hoxton Hamburg
The Hoxton is launching its second hotel location in Germany, nestled in Hamburg, a city famed for its captivating architecture, extensive canals, lush parks, vibrant cultural venues, and thriving food scene. Located within the dynamic Alter Wall redevelopment project, this hotel boasts 188 rooms of varying sizes, a spacious lobby bar, a ground floor restaurant, a rooftop dining venue, and The Apartment – the signature meeting and event space unique to The Hoxton.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
- Implement the core revenue management philosophy to surpass fair market share by managing Mind Share, Market Share, and Channel Share across revenue, sales, marketing, and operational efforts.
- Lead weekly revenue meetings for assigned properties, coordinating revenue strategies with hotel teams and support staff, fully understanding effects on operations and profitability.
- Provide support to additional hotels within the region regarding revenue strategies, sales and marketing processes, pricing, systems, and reporting.
- Collaborate routinely with General Managers, sales teams, brand managers, and digital teams to make high-level strategic decisions spanning market segments and distribution channels.
- Ensure current systems and procedures are aligned with group requirements and revise as needed to support business goals.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc data analyses and reporting, highlighting key trends such as booking pace, channels, and group bookings.
- Aim to meet or exceed room revenue targets including budgets and RevPAR Index, focusing on profitability.
- Draft annual revenue budgets for the hotel, accompanied by ongoing results analysis.
- Create detailed monthly forecasts breaking down occupancy, rates, and market segment mixes, with continuous performance assessments.
- Monitor competitor offerings, revenue management approaches, new hotel developments, and local demand generators.
- Maintain strong partnerships with third-party stakeholders including OTA market managers and oversee channel management including rate and inventory control.
- Manage the revenue management system’s consistent use and upkeep, handling forecast validation, daily system interactions, configuration, and maintenance duties.

- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in revenue management or reservations functions; experience with hotel openings or knowledge of the Edinburgh market is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and make well-informed decisions.
- A methodical, process-oriented mindset balanced with flexibility and calmness under pressure and tight deadlines.
