Retail Store Supervisor

Job Overview

This role requires an individual to oversee daily store operations at Close To Home Grocery & Deli located in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The position demands on-site presence as remote work is not permitted.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff including apprentices, stage hands, and the design team.
• Delegate daily sales duties to appropriate workers.
• Place orders for merchandise to maintain stock levels.
• Authorize the return process for merchandise as needed.
• Engage directly in selling merchandise to customers.
• Address and resolve various issues such as customer inquiries, complaints, and challenges arising from supply shortages.
• Coordinate and oversee workforce activities to ensure smooth store operation.
• Handle cash management duties accurately.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient in English language communication.
• Possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience ranging from 7 months up to less than one year in a similar role.

Additional Information

The work must be performed physically at the store location; no remote working options are available.
