Role Overview

The position requires a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to handle cleaning at residential rental properties. Duties include move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties to be listing-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled residential rental properties for varying cleaning services including move-in, move-out, turnover, and listing preparation.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks adhering to company standards across all areas: kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any residual items.
• Wipe down high-touch points such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards.
• Operate cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners, mops, and sweepers effectively on various floor types.
• Thoroughly clean interior of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as needed.
• Identify any property areas requiring extra cleaning, junk removal, repair, or further maintenance and report these issues accordingly.
• Capture clear before-and-after images and videos of completed work for documentation.
• Communicate professionally with landlords, applicants, tenants (where relevant), and internal team members, providing updates, notes, and photographic evidence after visits.
• Follow all company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment details without supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a related role focused on residential properties.
• In-depth understanding of residential cleaning standards and practices.
• Ownership of reliable transportation to travel between properties.
• Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and tools for each assignment.
• Comfortable and capable of working independently onsite at rental properties.
• Possession of a smartphone such as an iPhone 13 or equivalent with a good-quality camera for documenting work.
• Clear written communication skills for notes and reporting following each visit.
• Professional demeanor with punctuality, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adhere strictly to cleaning checklists, instructions, and property access requirements.
• Respectful communication with all stakeholders including landlords, tenants, and team members.

Desirable Experience

• Previous exposure to move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning services.
• Experience preparing properties specifically for photos, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in.
• Ability to recognize and report property damage, maintenance needs, junk removal, pest issues, access challenges, and safety concerns.
• Background working independently in roles within property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services industries.
