About the Role

Intetics Inc., a global IT company specializing in custom software development and digital solutions, is looking for a skilled Research & Communications Specialist to join their team in Latvia. This journalist-focused role involves obtaining media access to major business events and delivering insightful interviews, research, and written reports, tailored to spotlight business challenges solvable via custom software.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct detailed interviews with company executives, founders, investors, and policymakers.
• Identify technology demands of target organizations and connect them with Intetics.
• Create various content forms, including news articles, features, profiles, and analytical pieces.
• Conduct market, company, and trend research while verifying facts and sources for accuracy.
• Develop briefing materials, formulate interview questions, and summarize post-event insights.
• Work closely with editors, maintaining compliance with editorial guidelines and deadlines.

Requirements

• Expertise in interviewing senior-level professionals.
• Thorough understanding of business and IT sectors is essential.
• Exceptional skills in writing, editing, and fact-checking.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrable background in covering business-related events.
• Proficiency in multimedia methods including audio and video interviews, and live reporting.
• Availability and willingness to travel internationally to conferences.
• Advanced English language proficiency at C1 level mandatory.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian languages is advantageous.

Expected Outputs

• Facilitate introductions to Intetics following interviews and event attendance.
• Conduct analyses of conferences and target markets for optimal impact.
• Produce executive interview transcripts and summaries to enhance ongoing engagements.
• Publish well-researched articles with sourced information and actionable conclusions, unsigned by Intetics.
