Registered Psychologist

About the Role

ORS Group is expanding its Psychology team and seeking a Registered Psychologist to join their national network. This position involves delivering both NDIS and private psychological services, supported by flexible working arrangements and professional supervision to facilitate career advancement for both early-career and established psychologists.

Key Responsibilities

The psychologist will provide evidence-driven therapeutic interventions incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). The role includes conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations such as autism, ADHD, cognitive/IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, mental health assessments, and evaluations of decision-making capacity.

Work settings include clinics located in Fyshwick and Mitchell within a multidisciplinary team context, as well as community environments such as family residences, disability group homes, day programs, and educational institutions. Client assignments are arranged to minimize travel and align with the psychologist’s location.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of general registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Proven expertise in undertaking autism assessments, which is critical to this role.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel to various client locations.
• Ready to obtain or already hold National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance before commencing employment.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with cognitive assessments and endorsements in Clinical, Clinical Neuropsychology, or Educational and Developmental Psychology.
