Rail Track Construction Worker (m/f/d)

Role Overview

This position involves the construction and upgrade of rail track systems, ensuring safe and efficient train operations through precise work on track installations, switches, and track superstructures. The role also includes performing repairs and maintenance to address damages and wear promptly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Construct new railway tracks and modernize existing track systems.
• Install railway switches accurately and carry out regular maintenance to guarantee safety.
• Replace rails, sleepers, and ballast as part of track superstructure tasks.
• Perform repair and renovation work swiftly to maintain uninterrupted rail traffic.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a track construction worker or civil engineering specialist or an equivalent qualification.
• Possess manual skills, technical interest, and the ability to visualize spatial layouts.
• Experience working with Deutsche Bahn AG is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Hold a valid Class B driving license.
• Proficient in German with at least B1 level in spoken and written communication.
