Radiologist (Mesaieed) - Arabic Speaker

Primary Purpose of the Role

Deliver diagnostic consultation and reporting services using X-ray, ultrasound, and other radiology techniques to support patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide expert analysis and reporting of radiological images including X-ray, ultrasound, and bone mineral density scans.
• Operate and manage various radiology systems including Radiology Information System (RIS) for patient registration, Computerized Radiography (CR), and Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS).
• Ensure compliance with all radiation safety policies and procedures to minimize hazards.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all patient radiology records and related information.
• Continue to uphold and maintain licensure to practice as a Radiologist in accordance with Qatar Department of Healthcare Professions standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Medicine with a postgraduate qualification specializing in Diagnostic Radiology is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Diagnostic Radiologist license recognized by the Qatar Department of Healthcare Professions is essential.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in Diagnostic Radiology within a clinical healthcare environment is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and radiation worker license or equivalent is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new radiological procedures and follow protocols effectively.
