Quality Control Engineer

Overview

We seek a seasoned Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to oversee and direct quality management processes in civil engineering, construction projects, and manufacturing operations based in Bangalore. The position requires at least five years of practical experience in raw material inspection, quality auditing, in-process quality control, and site implementation to ensure strict adherence to specifications and standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain quality assurance protocols, standards, and manuals applicable to construction sites and manufacturing processes.
• Supervise quality control processes to reduce defects, prevent rework, and avoid operational delays.
• Organize and carry out audits on production sites and lines to guarantee compliance with quality policies and project guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of incoming raw materials through sample testing to validate vendor specifications and material characteristics.
• Manage inspections during various stages of project execution to ensure conformity with engineering blueprints.
• Identify, analyze, and promptly address quality issues and non-conformances, implementing corrective measures.
• Collaborate closely with civil engineers and site managers to synchronize quality inspections with project timelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Preferred certifications include ISO 9001:2015 Lead or Internal Auditor, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Non-Destructive Testing Level II, or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer credentials.
• Minimum five years of QA/QC experience within construction, civil engineering, heavy manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in quality assurance, quality audits, root cause analysis, and process quality control.
