Job Overview

This is a permanent full-time position based at Eastcroft Depot, London Road, Nottingham NG2 3AH. The role involves working 37 hours per week as an off-site operative. The starting salary is £25,583 annually at Level One, progressing to £26,403 at Level Three (pro rata for part-time employees), with a pay award pending. Role Description and Responsibilities

The Public Realm Operative will contribute to maintaining Nottingham's environment, including streets, parks, and public areas. Duties encompass waste and recycling collection, grounds maintenance, environmental cleansing, and assistance with winter services like snow clearing and gritting. Flexibility is required to work across various neighborhood services depending on operational needs. No driving license is necessary.

They must be able to walk up to 15 miles daily in all weather conditions and have a solid understanding of health and safety standards, adhering to best practices.
