Role overview
Sureserve is looking for a Property Cleaner in Aberdeen to complete deep cleaning work in empty homes across its housing portfolio. The aim is to leave each property spotless, presentable, and ready for new residents.
About Sureserve
Sureserve supports housing associations, local authorities, and residents with compliance and energy-related services. The organisation focuses on improving energy efficiency, keeping homes safe and compliant, and raising quality of life. With nationwide reach and local expertise, it delivers dependable service across the UK.
Key responsibilities
You will travel between multiple properties and organise your own workload while maintaining a strong eye for detail. Duties include cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, removing waste and debris, and completing full property cleans to a high standard. Your work will help create a strong first impression for incoming residents and reduce the time homes remain vacant. You will also coordinate with housing, repairs, and maintenance teams to support quick and efficient property turnaround.
What the employer is looking for
The role suits someone with prior cleaning experience in domestic, commercial, housing, or facilities settings. A solid work ethic, a positive approach, and the ability to work without close supervision are important. You should also understand basic health and safety practices and be able to use cleaning tools and materials carefully and responsibly. Experience in social housing would be an advantage, though it is not required. A full UK driving licence is helpful because the job involves travel between locations.
Working pattern
This is a permanent position with 40 contracted hours each week. The usual working days are Monday to Friday.
Terms and conditions
The pay rate is £14.47 per hour. Annual leave is 20 days plus bank holidays.
