Role overview
NMB Solutions is expanding and is looking for an independent, forward-thinking Project Manager to support customer implementations of modern enterprise supply chain solutions built around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This position is designed for someone who is comfortable succeeding in a virtual-first environment and can lead projects and teams from a remote setup across Canada and other regions.
The role calls for a proactive professional who can work well in a small, energetic team that values collaboration, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
What you will do
You will own the end-to-end delivery of internal and customer-facing projects, making sure work is finished on schedule, within budget, and aligned to the agreed scope and quality standards. You will also be the main point of contact for project coordination, timelines, expectations, and communication.
- Lead project delivery with responsibility for time, budget, scope, quality, stakeholder communication, and overall client satisfaction.
- Manage resources effectively by securing and assigning people according to internal and external project needs.
- Prepare and coordinate implementation quotes, statements of work, and change requests.
- Define, protect, and communicate project scope and deliverables clearly.
- Set and monitor milestones, build project initiation documentation, and align plans with timeline and capacity.
- Create and maintain the project communication plan.
- Identify project risks early and take action to reduce exposure related to time, budget, and scope.
- Handle escalations and resolve issues when projects move away from agreed delivery targets.
- Maintain accurate project administration in line with Jira processes, including project setup, dashboards, task distribution, issue logs, weekly status reports, and UAT sign-off records.
- Track project performance and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Take on related tasks as needed.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone with several years of experience managing complex IT or SaaS implementation work, ideally in ERP, supply chain, or Microsoft-related environments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned.
- 3–5+ years of experience leading complex IT or SaaS implementation projects, preferably in ERP, supply chain, or the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Strong record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Good understanding of project governance, change control, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Working knowledge of project delivery approaches including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred background
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft D365 F&O or another ERP platform.
- Experience using Jira to manage projects.
- Ability to plan resources and capacity across several projects at once.
- Confidence in managing risk, solving issues, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Strong relationship management skills with clients and partners.
- Adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and focused on practical solutions.
- Experience in fast-moving software or SaaS environments.
- A degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience leading customer-facing projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Bilingual ability is an advantage; English is required and French is a plus.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
