Job description
Overview
The Project Manager will lead the comprehensive development process of Sediver's new manufacturing plant located in Saudi Arabia. This position entails overseeing project planning, execution, budget oversight, stakeholder liaison, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to guarantee timely and successful project completion.
Key Duties
- Direct all project management efforts related to establishing Sediver's manufacturing facility in KSA, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Maintain relationships with local government authorities and key stakeholders to secure necessary permits, licenses, approvals, and leverage government incentives.
- Supervise planning, execution, budgeting, and monitoring of civil engineering and construction work connected to the new facility.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and quality teams to evaluate and select local suppliers for key raw materials.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among internal teams, external contractors, consultants, legal, and tax advisors to ensure project alignment and regulatory adherence.
- Work alongside technical experts to define and review specifications related to construction, equipment procurement, and plant infrastructure.
- Track project progression, identify and mitigate risks, and compile periodic management reports summarizing status, milestones, financials, and critical matters.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field; additional credentials in project management are advantageous.
- Established track record in capital project management and PMO functions, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Experience managing construction projects in Saudi Arabia, ideally for industrial or manufacturing facilities.
- Solid understanding of local regulatory frameworks and capability to manage administrative procedures including permits and approvals.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
