This position reports directly to the Local Division Manager of the UAE Cluster and is based onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will contribute to the AUEN region, collaborating closely with customers, project managers, and operation/service delivery teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management Office team in your designated area, supporting project managers in defining and implementing project management policies and procedures.
• Contribute expert knowledge to shape and execute project execution strategies effectively.
• Maintain a strong customer focus by delivering an exceptional project management experience and continuously driving improvements to increase customer satisfaction.
• Identify and work with customers to find opportunities to enhance their operations and resolve pain points.
• Oversee project management activities at the portfolio level through regular reviews with management and project managers.
• Act as an escalation point for project management issues, proactively addressing individual and systemic challenges.
• Provide coaching and plan career development for team members to build the necessary project operation skills and competencies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive expertise in project management with a solid background in automation and electrical solutions within the Oil & Gas and Power & Water sectors.
• Familiarity with onshore and offshore Oil & Gas clients, particularly ADNOC and other GCC customers.
• Over 15 years of experience in project management roles.
• Knowledge of ABB Control and Electrical Systems is essential.
• Strong passion for collaborating with customers and solving problems, complemented by excellent communication skills.
• A degree in Engineering, with proven expertise in automation systems and/or process applications in the Oil & Gas and Power & Water industries.
• Fluency in English for effective communication with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
• Current certifications in Project Management such as PMP or ABB PM/SPM Certifications.
