- Promote a zero-harm safety culture ensuring compliance with health, safety, and process safety regulations relevant to high-voltage and high-pressure environments and leading hazard prevention initiatives.
- Act as the main liaison with clients, consortium members, financiers, and regulators to ensure transparency, resolve issues promptly, and foster strong partnerships for ongoing business.
- Maintain a dynamic risk register with mitigation strategies and contingencies, escalating critical risks and recommending protective measures to senior leadership.
- Guarantee adherence to all quality assurance protocols, grid codes, interconnection standards, and international engineering standards for flawless project delivery and successful handover.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degrees in Engineering Management, Project Management, or MBA are advantageous.
- Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent in project management is highly desired.
- At least 15-18 years of experience leading large EPC power projects, with 6-8 years specifically as a Project Director or in equivalent senior roles covering thermal, combined-cycle, renewable, or transmission projects.
- Proven expertise managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and full project lifecycle phases from FEED through commissioning and final testing.
- Solid competence in contract administration, claims handling, and commercial negotiations under FIDIC or similar EPC contracts.

- In-depth knowledge of power generation technologies and EPC delivery, including grid interconnection requirements for various power types.
- Strong command over project cost and schedule controls using earned value management and similar methodologies.
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering and construction activities for complex projects.
- Capability in risk identification and mitigation, stakeholder engagement including with clients, consortium partners, and regulators.
