Position Overview
The Project Coordinator role involves supporting diverse educational and clinical research initiatives, including patient interviews, obtaining informed consent, assisting with respiratory tests, extracting and entering clinical data, managing basic databases, conducting statistical analyses, and providing administrative support for educational programs and compliance monitoring. Candidates should expect to work onsite at least 50% of the time, with a preference for a minimum one-year commitment.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with patients and manage project databases.
- Extract relevant data from medical charts and enter it accurately into databases.
- Prepare documents and presentations, respond to basic data queries.
- Assist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and documentation for continuing medical education.
- Support bibliographic research, lecture preparation, and general administrative tasks related to education.
- Coordinate and oversee both basic and moderately complex project activities ensuring quality, timeliness, and integrity.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules covering administrative duties and track adherence to deadlines.
- Organize, lead, and facilitate project-related meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and presentations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project actions and devise standardized procedures for record-keeping.
- Develop and produce project reports and deliverable materials as required.
- Monitor project modifications, update schedules, and track deliverables while alerting management to potential issues and proposing corrective measures.
- Coordinate procurement processes, vendor communications, travel arrangements, and departmental correspondence when necessary.
- Create test scenarios pertinent to the project or department.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completed a bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent education and work experience.
- No prior experience required, but one year of project coordination experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Strong written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability and willingness to learn additional computer programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an interest or experience in clinical research support, data, and project management.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Polish and a graduate degree are advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation
The role offers an annual salary ranging from $66,482 to $75,000. Actual salary depends on experience, education, and operational requirements. Additional compensation forms such as bonuses or incentives are not included in this range.
