Project Coordinator

About the Role

Mutiara (FE) Pte Ltd is expanding quickly and has secured new project work, creating an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator in Singapore. The company is looking for a capable, energetic professional who can support project delivery and contribute to ongoing business growth.

Leadership

• Support the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in driving strong project outcomes.
• Encourage teamwork across the site team and subcontractors so project targets are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and put in place the overall site setup, including resources and organization.
• Define project targets and keep them aligned with the company’s objectives and goals.
• Assist the Project Manager in supervising the project team and subcontractors so work is delivered according to the approved contract timeline and project phases.
• Ensure the project is completed to a high standard while meeting client expectations and all relevant authority and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with architects and consultants on construction-related matters throughout the site progression stage.
• Help the Project Manager resolve site-related issues promptly.
• Monitor preliminary cost budgets to keep project spending within approved limits.
• Apply controls for usage of materials, plant, equipment, and utilities.
• Manage direct labour usage, including labour allocation and overtime planning.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or diploma in Architecture or Civil Engineering is required.
• The candidate should be self-driven and motivated.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office is needed; drafting software skills will be considered an advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
