Production & Quality Assurance Administrator

About the Role

Queally Group is seeking a Production & Quality Assurance Administrator to oversee and support the ongoing development and execution of its Quality Assurance programs within a food manufacturing context. This role is best suited for someone with practical knowledge gained on the factory floor, a strong grasp of production workflows, and familiarity with food safety standards. Main Duties

• Uphold and continuously enhance compliance with our comprehensive Quality Assurance framework, which aligns with globally recognized standards.
• Support annual audits and certification processes by maintaining and surpassing required quality benchmarks.
• Travel locally and internationally to suppliers and clients, monitoring manufacturing practices, ensuring adherence to product specifications, and collaborating on technical documentation and improvements.
• Engage directly with customers to discuss product quality, requirements, and expectations.
• Develop a deep understanding of business operations, with the goal of identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhanced efficiency.
• Compile regular quality reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Manage paperwork for customers and complete supplier approvals while adhering to internal protocols.
• Swiftly investigate and address customer complaints related to product quality.
• Oversee the management of product specifications, conduct checks on trade contracts, and support quality and system audits.
• Help create, revise, and maintain quality documentation and standard operating procedures, and conduct training sessions to foster a culture of quality and ongoing improvement among staff.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry and/or a relevant higher education background.
• Operational knowledge of BRCGS standards, HACCP, and food-related legislation.
• Willingness to undertake both mentoring and role-specific training as provided by the company.
• Ability and willingness to travel based on business needs.
• Eligibility to legally work in Ireland.
