About the Role
Queally Group is seeking a Production & Quality Assurance Administrator to oversee and support the ongoing development and execution of its Quality Assurance programs within a food manufacturing context. This role is best suited for someone with practical knowledge gained on the factory floor, a strong grasp of production workflows, and familiarity with food safety standards. Candidates will thrive if they are highly organized, precise, and eager to advance their career in quality and production administration.
Main Duties
- Uphold and continuously enhance compliance with our comprehensive Quality Assurance framework, which aligns with globally recognized standards.
- Support annual audits and certification processes by maintaining and surpassing required quality benchmarks.
- Travel locally and internationally to suppliers and clients, monitoring manufacturing practices, ensuring adherence to product specifications, and collaborating on technical documentation and improvements.
- Engage directly with customers to discuss product quality, requirements, and expectations.
- Develop a deep understanding of business operations, with the goal of identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhanced efficiency.
- Compile regular quality reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Manage paperwork for customers and complete supplier approvals while adhering to internal protocols.
- Swiftly investigate and address customer complaints related to product quality.
- Oversee the management of product specifications, conduct checks on trade contracts, and support quality and system audits.
- Help create, revise, and maintain quality documentation and standard operating procedures, and conduct training sessions to foster a culture of quality and ongoing improvement among staff.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry and/or a relevant higher education background.
- Operational knowledge of BRCGS standards, HACCP, and food-related legislation.
- Willingness to undertake both mentoring and role-specific training as provided by the company.
- Ability and willingness to travel based on business needs.
- Eligibility to legally work in Ireland.
