Production Operator - Carberry Plant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to good manufacturing practices in all tasks.
• Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within the production facility.
• Accurately measure and document equipment settings.
• Apply all facets of Operator Asset Care (O.A.C.) within your work area consistently.
• Complete cleaning and inspection checklists for production lines regularly.
• Maintain sanitation standards, including cleaning scales, sweeping floors, and disposing of damaged product waste appropriately.
• Operate production machinery efficiently to produce products meeting quality standards; promptly report any equipment issues to supervisors.
• Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of all production records.
• Record production data and input information into computer systems.
• Conduct thorough clean-up and shutdown procedures, involving deep cleaning, sweeping, air hosing, chemical application, and high-pressure cleaning on designated lines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Physical and Functional Requirements

• Ability to push and pull equipment and materials, such as poly rolls, hoses, waste containers, pallets, and cases.
• Capable of lifting weights between approximately 25 and 44 pounds up to six feet high.
• Comfortable with stair and ladder use as required by the job.
• Frequent bending, crouching, standing for extended durations, and continuous walking throughout shift.
