Production Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations at Tata Electronics, located in Assam, India. The role focuses on ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, managing costs, and leading a skilled workforce to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of products.
• Supervise daily manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and uphold product quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to IPC and ISO quality standards and work towards reducing product defects.
• Lead and mentor operators and technicians, assigning tasks optimally to maximize productivity and workforce potential.
• Maintain compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and prepare the facility for audits.
• Monitor production expenses, manage scrap rates, and introduce measures to minimize costs.
• Track key performance indicators including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), First Pass Yield (FPY), and production output, providing regular reports to senior management.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Solid background with 15 to 20 years in production management, ideally within ISP or related manufacturing sectors.
• Proven experience managing large teams and handling complex manufacturing operations.
