About the Role
Join Google as a Product Manager for Google Pay based in Singapore. In this role, you will collaborate across various teams including engineering, program management, and user experience to steer products from initial concept to market launch. You will play a crucial role in bridging the technical and business domains, breaking down complex challenges to facilitate seamless product development. Your work will contribute to innovative, user-focused financial technologies that reach millions globally.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners such as engineers, program managers, and UX designers to interpret product requirement documents (PRDs) into measurable objectives and key results (OKRs) across teams.
- Formulate and lead strategies for user entry points within the Google Pay app.
- Manage data integration initiatives involving SMS transaction synchronization and enrichment, Account Aggregator frameworks, Gmail financial data, CIBIL credit reports, and RAG knowledge structures to generate a consolidated financial view for users.
- Monitor and achieve critical success metrics for the 'Ask GPay' AI-powered finance assistant designed for Indian users.
- Develop and maintain robust machine learning data pipelines to support transaction ingestion, classification, and merchant identification processes.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Minimum of five years in product management or equivalent technical roles.
- At least two years of experience building machine learning data pipelines and performing evaluations.
- Minimum two years of advisory and regulatory experience within financial and technological sectors.
- Proven experience in developing or launching AI or machine learning products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in technology or business preferred.
- Three years of experience in business functions such as strategic marketing, operations, or consultancy.
- At least three years delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
- Two years working across functional teams including engineering, UX, sales, and finance.
- Experience building large-scale data ingestion and ML pipelines in consumer finance apps.
- Track record of driving product growth, discoverability, and cross-team coordination in complex organizations.
