Procurement Specialist

About the Role

At Coalesce Management Consulting, a community dedicated to excellence, we provide tailored project solutions to clients in the Life Science and Technology sectors through our network of expert industry professionals. We are expanding our team and seek a dedicated Procurement Specialist to work on client projects onsite in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete Source to Pay cycle for assigned procurement categories including Direct, MRO, and Indirect materials, ensuring uninterrupted material availability.
• Negotiate strategic pricing and contractual agreements to secure optimal supply arrangements.
• Execute operational sourcing and procurement activities adhering to industry standards and procedures for the designated categories.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Compliance team to address supplier quality complaints, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
• Lead Local Business Review and Annual Supplier Relationship meetings with key suppliers to uncover improvement opportunities and mitigate supply risks and gaps.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply fully with organizational guidelines as well as applicable regulatory and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Certifications like Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are advantageous.
• Experience in sourcing and procuring GMP, MRO, and Indirect materials, backed by strong negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in dynamic and fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of fostering close and collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
