About the Role
Tractor Junction seeks proactive and field-driven Procurement Officers to enhance operations in the used tractor market. The primary responsibility involves sourcing and acquiring pre-owned tractors directly from owners and dealers at profitable rates to boost company inventory and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and engage with tractor owners, farmers, and dealers to secure used tractor procurements
- Negotiate and purchase old tractors at competitive yet profitable prices
- Conduct regular field visits within designated areas to generate procurement opportunities
- Assess tractor conditions, model specifics, ownership documentation, and potential resale value
- Effectively negotiate purchase prices and close deals promptly
- Foster ongoing relationships with local tractor dealers and intermediary brokers
- Collaborate with internal departments to manage documentation and vehicle transfer processes efficiently
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly procurement targets
Additional Information
This position requires strong negotiation capabilities, an in-depth understanding of the local tractor market, and excellent relationship management skills with stakeholders like farmers and dealers. The role is predominantly field-based covering locations within Rajasthan including Jaipur, Alwar, Jodhpur, and Ajmer.
