About Noya British School

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver inspiring lessons aimed at helping students achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with teaching peers to plan engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons.
- Communicate effectively across all levels within the school community and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Support student growth by partnering with curriculum support staff when needed.
- Maintain an inviting classroom atmosphere with well-organized resources and stimulating displays.
- Plan and execute lessons that accommodate varying abilities and motivate pupils through enthusiastic teaching.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Participate in meetings with allied professionals, such as therapists and educational psychologists, when appropriate.
- Manage classroom behavior in alignment with school policies and serve as a role model promoting positive attitudes and values.
- Engage in wider school activities, including curriculum committees, events, outings, and extracurricular activities.
- Conduct weekly extracurricular activities each term and communicate student progress in parent meetings and via school systems like CPOMS.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject coupled with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, with all documentation attested.
- At least 1 to 2 years of teaching experience.
- Experience teaching students for whom English is a second language is essential.
- A demonstrated passion for holistic education and commitment to student well-being.
- Proven professionalism and involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Respect for diversity and a positive, solution-oriented approach in the workplace.
- Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police clearance.
- Residency in the same Emirate as the school location is required.
