Role Overview
Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support classroom activities in a nurturing early childhood environment located in Child Okeford, England. This position enables you to work with young children, assisting with their development and ensuring safety while participating in a welcoming, collaborative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment valuing every child's dignity and care.
- Welcome children and families daily, building strong professional relationships.
- Support recognition and fulfillment of individual children's developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including adherence to IEPs and behavioral support plans.
- Assist classroom staff in planning and implementing age-appropriate curricula and Cadence Signature Programs.
- Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using organization-approved tools.
- Follow safety and supervision policies, including documentation and reporting of accidents or incidents.
- Help manage and report escalated behaviors according to organizational procedures.
- Adhere to all employee handbook policies and participate in mandatory meetings and professional development activities, some outside regular hours.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to consistently uphold safety protocols including Name-to-Face accountability, food allergy management, bottle-feeding, and Safe Sleep procedures.
- Collaborative work style within a classroom team.
- Proficiency in English language skills—reading, writing, and speaking.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not mandatory if state licensing requirements are fulfilled.
- Early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
- Compliance with all state licensing qualifications for Teacher Assistants in licensed childcare centers.
- Capability to obtain and maintain necessary background checks and health screenings.
- CDA credential preferred but optional if state requirements are met.
Scheduling and Work Conditions
- Flexible scheduling required; shifts may vary in length and start/end times depending on enrollment and operational needs.
- Work hours may not always be standard eight-hour shifts and are subject to change.
