Job Description

The position of Public Relations & Events Manager for Rado, U.S. & Caribbean, involves crafting and executing the brand's PR and media strategies to bolster the brand’s reputation and visibility. The role demands overseeing media communications, managing proactive engagement with journalists and influencers, and handling sensitive issues promptly. Daily media relations, content creation, and event management fall under this role's scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance brand awareness and increase market share via well-planned PR campaigns for product launches and promotions.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Manager to synchronize PR efforts with broader marketing goals.
  • Lead annual PR campaign planning and execution, liaising with global marketing communications and local marketing management.
  • Innovate and identify opportunities to maximize brand success.
  • Produce compelling PR materials including press releases and media kits when not supplied by headquarters.
  • Oversee PR initiatives from initial concept to completion.
  • Prepare various communication collateral including presentations and reports for multiple platforms.
  • Maintain and grow the U.S. media contacts database; facilitate networking for corporate executives.
  • Maintain regular, proactive media engagement.
  • Manage logistics related to product samples for photoshoots and placements.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • Minimum seven years' experience in PR, ideally with consumer luxury products, agency, media, or corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, or Business.
  • Expertise in traditional and digital/social media PR strategies.
  • Strong communication and writing skills are a must.
  • Proficient in event planning.
