Role Summary

MVS ACMEI Technologies seeks a proficient PLC Automation Engineer for its Sultanpur, Hyderabad location. This role is full-time and focused on designing, developing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial automation systems in manufacturing and process industries, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and program PLC-based automation solutions.
• Create HMI and SCADA applications for controlling machines and processes.
• Program, test, commission, and troubleshoot PLCs onsite at customer locations.
• Setup and commission variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo drives, sensors, and field devices.
• Integrate PLCs with SCADA, HMIs, and other industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation-related issues effectively.
• Prepare detailed electrical schematics, input/output lists, functional specs, and technical documentation.
• Execute and participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and clients through all phases of project deployment.
• Travel to client sites for installation, commissioning, and post-installation support when necessary.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in PLC programming with platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalents.
• Hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA software such as WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Ignition, or similar.
• Familiarity with common industrial communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and CAN.
• Knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret and work from electrical drawings and control panel diagrams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and capacity to interact well with clients.
• Willingness and ability to travel for commissioning and service assignments.

Educational and Experience Requirements

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or closely related disciplines. Candidates should ideally possess between 2 to 6 years of substantial experience in PLC programming, automation, commissioning, and control system engineering. However, motivated fresh graduates with solid automation project knowledge may also be considered.
